Food Safety and Standardization Authority of India (FSSAI) is a government agency responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of food products in India.

Additionally, it provides sector-specific courses tailored to high-risk food products, addressing the specific training needs in this area.

The preamble of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, mandates the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to ensure the availability of safe and nutritious food for the people of India.
